Tho attorneys for the defendant waived the preliminary proceeding, pro-ceeding, and Judge Holm bound Walker over to the district court. J. Jordan, also charged with attempted burglar' , at Bingham Junction, was bound over to J the district court. A The Granite High school football team has closed a very remarkable football season. The football men met yesterday yester-day and elected Hex Sutherland to act in the capacity of captain the coming season. Cyrece Bagle3' was chosen manager. man-ager. Both 3'oung men are well known, and the impression is that they will bring tho football team to a high standard stand-ard when tho season again opens. The Granite team has met the best teams in the state and have finished the pres ent s?ason with but one defeat. They are now tied for the state championship champion-ship with the Salt Lake High school. Dr. W. 11. EothweJl, who has for tho past three years acted as manager of the Murray general hospital, which was closed last week, on account of the nonpatronage non-patronage of the American smelter, has ( jiurchased the Phelan homo in Mnrray. This is one of tho most costlv homes in the Smelter city. Ho will" erect a avo-room office building, with operating operat-ing laboratory, and expects to have tho structure completed within the next-two next-two months. The funeral of Mrs. Peter F. ftund-quist. ftund-quist. tho aged woman of Bingham Junction who passed awav suddenly Wednesday of old age, was held' at the West Jordan chapel yesterday. Thc Fraternal Order of Eagles, No. 1710, met at the Fraternal hall yester- day and elected officers for the ensuing year. Those elected wore: J. v Krebs. president; Lars J.
