Show West Btfl. The Mother's Day Sunday School program in the 2nd Ward was just right. The Jr. Sunday School children sang; Jerry Thompson, Gina Mitchell, Scott Dautel, and Erma Hogan spoke and bore tribute to mothers; and the deacons quorum presented floral remembrances to the mothers in deed and in song. In the West Bountiful 1st Ward the Mother's Day program was a high spot in the spring season. Don Curtis gave a tribute to mothers, Suzanne Mitchell gave thoughts representing the mothers of young children; Kay Goldberg, also spoke as a young mother; Clara Johnson represented the grandmothers; grand-mothers; and Olive Bown talked as a mother of teenagers. The Jr. Sunday School put the icing on the cake with their harmony. In Sacrament Meeting the mood was continued con-tinued as Jane Bunker talked of accepting responsibility, Marv. Ellis talked of keeping Books of Remembrance and LaRene Ellis talked of mothers. |
