Show David and Judy Wood, 189 South Main are parents of their first child, a boy born May 6 in a Bountiful hospital, weighing 6 lb. 14 oz. His name will be Joshua David. Grandparents are Steven Wood, Farmington and Dan and Vi Booher, North Salt Lake. Ethel Udy celebrated Mother's Day with her daughter and husband, Clif and Betty Jackman in Bountiful. Boun-tiful. A cousin, James Floyd Cowley of Billings, Mont, and his son Norman Cowley of Blackfcot, Ida. called during the afternoon. They are former Farmington residents. A number of other relatives and friends called during the day to make a well remembered remem-bered Mother's Day. Etsil and Betty Fisher have returned from a motor trip to Dublin, Calif, near San Francisco. Fran-cisco. They visited the Abe and Bee Bywater family who are former Farmington residents. One day they met and visited an aunt Eliza Dattage of Providence, Utah who was in that area visiting relatives. Also visited Jack London Square on Oakland Bay and Monterrey Beach. Honored for their recent birthdays were Betty Fisher who celebrated on May 9 and her daughter, Ellen Trickier whose birthday was May 11. . Guests who joined them for luncheon at Arrow Press Square were Alice Jensen and Libbie Harston of Bountiful and Eunice Nielsen and Luanne Nielsen of Sandy. The Farmington First Ward Venturer and Explorer Scouts will make a drive on Wednesday, May 19 for food to be used to the almost empty supply area of the Indian In-dian Walk-in program, located locat-ed in Salt Lake City. Non-perishables and canned goods are acceptable. Home canned foods cannot be used. This drive is being sponsored spon-sored by the Salt Lake Council Venturer and Explorer Scouts and will include much of the Davis County area, it was reported by Stephen Tenney of the First Ward. The Farmington First Ward Relief Society is planning plan-ning a special spring social on May 26 in the Rock Chapel. The lesson will be on cultural refinement, along a Bicentennial Bicen-tennial theme. There will be a luncheon at noon.
