They will make their recommendations recommen-dations for new officers on May 9. THE OFFICERS are: Beatrice Bea-trice Mabey, president; Blanche Trumbull, first vice president; Elnora Riley, second vice president; Joyce Goodfellow, secretary-treasurer secretary-treasurer and Lucy Taylor, historian. The new officers will be installed in-stalled at the June meeting to be held at the Lion House in Salt Lake City on June 13. , RETIRING OFFICERS are Helen Brown Romney, president; Beatrice Mabey, first vice president; Blanche Trumbull, second vice president; Marr Campbell, secretary-treasurer; Lucy Taylor, historian and Ruth Olsen, parliamentarian. Gladys Burnham and ' Myrtle Higgs, program chairmen for the May meeting meet-ing have asked Marie Kirkland to present a program of her outstanding slides. Marie and her husband hus-band Ray have received awards and great acclaim for their photography. VIRGINIA SEEGMILLER was the hostess for the Fine Art Guild's March meeting. Marr Campbell and Elnora Riley were program chairmen. chair-men. Mrs. Harold Fabian and Mrs. Rulon Clark presented the musical play , "Tie , Old Salt Theater." The pl,ay was written by Mrs. Fabian. Beatrice Mabey was the hostess for the April meeting. Norma Mabey and Zelma Duffin were program chairmen. chair-men. Oma Wilcox gave the history and interesting stories about the islands of the Great Salt Lake. The "Note Worthies" sang two pioneer songs "Don't Marry the Mormon Mor-mon Boys" and "St. George and the Drag-on." |
