THE MADRIGALS of 1979 have been singing together for three years now, and this will be their last concert. The concert directly follows the . group's return from a concert Madrigals at Woods Cross High are planning a special "Remember" concert for May 8 at the school. Among those taking part are, front 1 to r, Teresa Ganlitz, Scott Jorgensen, Laura Babbel, Mike Davis, Jennifer Potts. Center, Ron Klemm, Cheryl Kofford, Bevan Carr, Frances Patrick. Back, Spencer Thompson, Antonette Kofford, Vincent Humphries, Tina Bradford, Darral Marriott. tour to Arizona State University Univer-sity where they will attend the Mountain States Music Festival. Fes-tival. The group is under the direction of J. Evan Bean, a three year member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and a music director for twenty years. MUSIC FOR the evening will include selections from classical to modern that the choir has performed over their three years together. Some of the selections performed per-formed will be by Bach, Brahms, Thompson, and many other well-known composers. Selections also include such favorites as: "Cherish," "Remember," "When I Fall in Love," and selections from the movie, 'The Whiz." It is to be a concert with "something for everyone." TICKETS may be purchased in advance from members of the choir, or they may be purchased at the door. Cost is 50 cents for children and students, and $1 for adults. |
