Try outs have been concluded for the rifle and flag corps. THOSE SELECTED as the new Woods Cross Rifles are: Kellie Barnett, Tina Bradford, Brad-ford, Kari Craig, Hiedi Feller, Diane Honey, Terie Knell, Sue Peach, Terry Pond, Usa Maxwell, and Jamie Swan-son, Swan-son, squad leader. Their advisor ad-visor is Earlene Blaser. 1978 was the first year Chosen as members of the Woods Cross High rifle and ,. -, flag corps are, front 1 to r, Kellie Barnett, Heidi Feller, Jamie Swanson, Sue Peach, Lisa Maxwell. Back, Diane Honey, Terie Knell, Terry Pond, Tina Bradford. Not present, Kari Craig. Earlene Blaser is advisor. Woods Cross formed a marching band and the rifles corp was introduced as the first of its kind in the region. BEDSIDES REHEARSING for fall competition, numerous parades (as many as five In one day) and field shows, the marching band, under the direction of Steve Richins, is presently grooming groom-ing for a trip to Edmonton, Canada- They were invited to participate in both parade marching and field exhibitions exhibi-tions in the Edmonton Klondike Klon-dike Days celebration. |
