Show IRENE EARL Succumbs At Age 85 Irene Waddoups Earl, age 85 of Bountiful, died April 26, 1979 following a long illness. Born Sept. 21, 1893 in West Jordan, Utah to Thomas and Cynthia Call Waddoups. Married Charles E. Earl, Oct. 13, 1920 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died in September Sep-tember 1962. SHE LIVED in Bountiful most of her life, was an active member of the LDS Church, naving servea in leacuuis positions and in the presidency of the Relief Society and Primary organizations or-ganizations as well as on the Stake Boards. She worked in the scouting program for 30 years, was active in the Ellen Loder Camp of the DUP, in which she served as captain as well as on the county board. She .served a three-year mission to Hawaii for the LDS Church and taught school in West Weber prior to her marriage. MRS. EARL is survived by the following children: Mrs. W. Robert (Jean) Keddington and Kenneth W. Earl of Bountiful; C. Jay of Albuquerque, Al-buquerque, N. Mex.; Mrs. Ellis (LaRae) Johnson, Preston, Pres-ton, Ida.; and T. Garry, Bozeman, Mont. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Thara Waddoups, Moore, Ida.; Ralph O. Waddoups, Wad-doups, Idaho Falls, Ida.; Mrs. M.H. (Elva) Mann, Mrs. Kenneth (Cleo) Rogerson, Mrs. Beatrice W. Bitter and Eunice Waddoups, all of Salt Lake City; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL services were' held Monday, April 38 at the Bountiful Third Ward Chapel. Interment was in the Bountiful Boun-tiful Memorial Park under the direction of Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary. |
