The SUSC concert will begin at 8: 15 p.m. in the Music Recital Hall. The public is invited to attend the performance free of charge. Concerto Concert at M usic Hall A concert featurii lg six concerto peices, compositions com-positions written f or orchestra or-chestra and one or m ire solo instruments, will t held May 15 at Souther n Utah State College. The Concerto Con cert will begin at 8:15 p.m . in the SUSC Music Reci tal Hall. The public is invil.ed to attend at-tend the performai ice; there will be no admission charged. SUSC students majoring or minoring in m usic will be the featured soloists for the spring concert. The program will include Bruch's "G-lVIinor Violin Concerto" feat uring Colleen Thorley, Ced.ar City, and Clete Holmes , Toquerville; Haydn's "T rumpet Con certo" with Lamont W. Anderson, Salt Lake City; and Schumann's "Cello Concerto" featuring Michele Mackay, Idaho Falls, Idaho. Bach's "Double Violin Concerto" with Morris Blackham, St. George, and Jean Morrill, Sandy; Mozart's "Flute Concerto" featuring Linda Paton, Salt Lake City; and Schumann's "A-Minor Piano Concerto" with Nancy Lamb, Or-derville, Or-derville, will also be included in-cluded in the performance. The SUSC Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Orchestra Director David Nyman and Associate Orchestra Director Virginia Stitt, will accompany the soloists. |
