Show ' Enoch and JMip 'dvalley (Jfcj Mr. and Mrs. Rod Brady had the misfortune this past week to lose their home when it caught fire early Saturday morning. They lost nearly everything when the house was completely destroyed. Mr. and Mrs. Jan Mem-mott Mem-mott have a new baby girl born recently at the Valley View Medical Center. Mr. and Mrs. K. C. Tolman were here over the weekend when their new granddaughter, grand-daughter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Heaps was blessed. Mrs. Tolman came a week ago to help out the family and Mr. Tolman came this weekend to take her back to their home in Calif. Mrs. Dolly Munson was in Las Vegas the latter part of last week. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Blad and children spent the weekend in Las Vegas visiting with family members. mem-bers. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Maxwell and children were in Blooming ton on Sunday when Mr. and Mrs. Leon Maxwell had their new baby boy blessed. This makes three boys and one girl for Leon and Betty. Also there to help celebrate were Mrs. Mildred Maxwell, Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Maxwell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Maxwell and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Taylor and family, and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Nelson. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Keeler are leaving this week to make their home in Orem for at least the next six months. We are sorry to see them leave, but wish them well. Mrs. Evelyn Heath of the Homestead subdivision is in the hospital recovering from a back injury. Mr. and Mrs. Walt Smith returned late last week from a trip to Salt Lake where they visited with friends and relatives. Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Christiansen were in Salt Lake over the weekend to visit with their children and to bless their new granddaughter. grand-daughter. Mrs. Connie Smith is recovering from surgery performed in Salt Lake last Monday. Her family was with her part of the week and they report she will be able to be home soon. Mrs. Louise Matheson returned home from the hospital on Saturday. She had been hospitalized for nearly a week as the result of being injured by a vicious dog. Mr. and Mrs. John Pratt and two children were here to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Grimshaw. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Grimshaw and small son, Brig are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Hunter Grimshaw. They are on their way from Flander, N. J. to Portland, Oregon. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Gibson enjoyed having their family together over the weekend. The occasion being blessing the new baby son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Gibson. Mr. and Mrs. Mac Gibson and family and Mr. and Mrs. Durrell Hall and family were here from Hurricane and Dr. and Mrs. Boyd Moss were here from Las Vegas. v |
