Show Jones, Christianson Married in Provo LDS Temple Ceremony j . J' v Mir - .jyg? MR. AND MRS. HOWARD W. JONES Becky Lynn Christianson became the bride of Howard W. Jones in a double ring ceremony at the Provo LDS Temple on March 24. The bride's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jack Christianson of Orem. Parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. H. Wendell Jones of Cedar City. The newlyweds were honored that same evening with a reception in the Orem Fifth Ward Church. The bride was beautiful in a dress with a billowy chiffon skirt and shoulder cape. The cape was accented with a lace iasert at the neckline, and the cape and illusion veil were both trimmed with the same delicate lace. The gown's waistline was emphasized with a soft sash, tied in a bow. The bride's bouquet was made of gardenias, surrounded by pink roses and grennery. Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Tom Jense, and Miss Mary Rohbock as Maid of honor. Bridesmaids included in-cluded Mrs. Mat Arnold, Mrs. Roland Synder, Mrs. Will Jolley, and Miss Sandy Vasquez. All wore long gowns of dusty rose, trimmed around the necks, sleeves, and empire waistlines with light rose. They carried white daisies, pink roses and carnations, surrounded by heather and baby's breath. Mothers of the newlyweds wore long gowns of burgundy and corsages of pink roses. Standing as best man was the bridegroom's brother, Curtis Jones. Greeting guests at the reception were Tom and Susie Christianson, and David and Julie Christianson. The young couple was further honored by an Open House in Cedar City March 25 at the SUSC Family Living Center. Greeting guests there were Carl and Jane Croft and Daryl Bulloch and Bill Kringlen. Becky is a graduate of Orem High School and received a Secretarial Certificate from SUSC. She is presently employed as a secretary for the SUSC School of Arts and Letters. Howard graduated from Cedar High School, attended SUSC, and served a mission to the England-Bristol area. He now works with his father in the livestock business. The newlyweds are making their home in Cedar City. The young bride was treated to a kitchen shower given by friends Connie Jolley, Denise Synder, Sandy Vasquez, Lori Griffin, Kathy Hanks, and Jinnene Hoagland, and a personal shower given by her sister, Bonnie Jense in Orem. |
