Show CEDED .;, A fellow was overheard the other day saying, "I'm thinking of becoming a bigamist. There's too much grass in this yard for one wife to cut." Susie to parents: "Here's my report card - and I'm tired of watching television anyway." Woman to hairdresser: hair-dresser: "Tint the gray hair black, color the hlaek hair blonde, then put a streak of gray through the center so it will look natural." When you get tired of try ing all other methods, remember, "If we don't sell your property, we'll buy it ourselves." Center & Main, Cedar City 586 9922 Dear Friends, Recently we were asked if a person could make advance arrangements for his funeral. Select the desired vault and casket, determine details of the funeral, the place the required funds for that purpose in a local bank. Such advanced planning is feasible at Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary and is especially sensible when there are no surviving relatives. :; V fN-' B0YER RICHARD BOYER FUNERAL DIRECTOR 168 EAST COLLEGE AVE. CEDAR CITY Candidate for I Iron County Assessor I ' . . v ' I Friends, asthe time for party mass meetings approaches, I would urge those of you j that can agree with my philosophy, to speak out and make your views known during 1 theselection of delegates to the cou nty conventions. THINGS THAT ARE IM PORTANT TO ME: That those who seek public office should remember thatthey are Public Servants That honesty and integrity mustaccompany that j desire to serve. That elected officials are totally responsible for the administration of the affairs of their office. That the office of Assessor is very im portant in that he mustsee that the tax burden isapplied to all, as fairly as possible and that all new properties are placed on the rolls. Thatthere needstobegreatercooperation between the various County Officers, (Clerk, treasurer, assessorand inspector) to more efficiently do the peoples business. That careful selection and training of those who assist is a must. I Have lived in Iron County all my life. I am aware of her history, I am also confident of herfuture. I appreciate the opportunity thatoursystem affords me to run forpublic office, and if selected I would committhe time and effort required to vigorously ad minister the affairs of this office.
