Show BYU Invitational Jackson dominates Sprints Brad Jackson continued his domination of the sprint events in Utah High School prep ranks this past week with two first places and a second at the prestigeous Brigham Young Invitational Track and Field Meet. Jackson picked up a first place in the 220 yard dash and a first in the 440 yard dash and was second in the 100 yard dash. His time, although not allowed because of faulting timing devices was believed to be a c new state record for the event, according to his coach Bob Schexnayder. Jackson won all three events in the state meet last year and will be battling against Kirkwood of Provo for top honors in the sprinting events in the Region Six meet slated this week. Jackson, has already qualified by time, for all three events in the state meet, to be held Next week at BYU as well as a member of the mile realy team. |
