At the first annual meeting of the Valley View Health Care Foundation new officers were named. They include, left to right: Judge Joe Jackson, Joe Gubler, Dr. Conrad V. Hatch, president; Mrs. Joye Corry, Eldon Schmutz and Garth Jones. Conrad Hatch heads Health Foundation Dr. Conrad V. Hatch has been elected president of the Valley View Health Care Foundation to succeed Dixie Leavitt. The elections were held at the first annual meeting of the Foundation held Wednesday, May 3. Other officers named at the meeting were Dr. Wesley Larsen, vice president; Winona Cowan, secretary and Joe Gubler, treasurer. Chairman of the four standing committees are Joyce Corry, Development and Finance; Judge Joe Jackson, Nomination and Membership; Represen-Public Represen-Public Relations and Eldon Schmutz, Investments. Valley View Health Care Foundation's first year was a great success under the direction of the first president, Dixie Leavitt. Strong community support was given to all of the Foundation's projects, including in-cluding the first annual Bazaar, it was reported to Foundation members in attendance at the annual meeting. The new officers and committee chairmen have pledged themselves to furthering the very worthwhile wor-thwhile purpose of the Foundation, which is to provide better health care to our community by raising funds for needed health care equipment, Dr. Hatch commented. |
