J. F.. and Berta Williams f traveled to Salt Lake City Sunday and back Tuesday where J. F. went to have his yearly check up with his i doctor. J Mr. Val Davis from Page, ; Ariz, spent Tuesday and Wed. here visiting with his mother, Gwen Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Williams spent Sunday afternoon visiting in Santa Clara with their daughter and son-in-law Deborah and Ronald Blake and Joshua and Anisa. Mr. Wayne Robinson from Long Beach, Calif, spent a week here with his sister and brother-in-law Carol and Wes Powell and son Troy. Mr. Gordon Farnsworth is spending a month in Evanston, Wyo. helping his brother. His wife Jannette and children are spending their weekends there with him. Mrs. Lynn Ruster with her girl scout, the Mariner Troop from Salt Lake City pitched their tent at the home of Don and Susan Cosney and spent the night. Their were 15 girls and 5 adults. They were enroute to Newport Dunes, Calif, to "Gam" which is a competition com-petition in Outdoor Skills. Susan is the area representative for the Girl Scouts in the southern part of Utah. Grover and Raona Lewis from Santa Monica, Calif, spent the weekend here visiting their mother and sisters and brothers-in-law Nedra and Liz Ence, Barbara Bar-bara and Meredith Munford, Angie and Kenny Williams and family. Bill and Frances Byrne from Ogden spent Friday here visiting friends. They spent the night with Bert and Roberta Eastman. Johnm and Teresa Batty and son Nathan moved into their new home this week. Bernice and Reed Williams enjoyed a visit from Bernice's brothers and sister-in-law Fay Iverson, Washington, Ut. LaFell and Cleone Iverson, LaVerkin. Verl and Fonda Beckstead attended a three day "All Morgan Horse Show in Pamona, Calif. They took two of their Morgan horses and came home with a 1st place ribbon, a 3rd, two 5th places and one 6th place. Mrs. Peggy Hammer and Lori Kellingsworth from Corona, Calif, spent Sat. and Sunday here with Peggy's mother and sister and brother-in-law, Jackie Dixon, Betty and Eugene Beatty. Jack and Carol Pollock and son Randy from Orem spent several days here with their mother, Mrs. Arvilla Woodbury. Mr. Thomas R. Smith spent a week in Lancaster, Calif, visiting friends and relatives and attending to business. Mrs. Ferl Zohner spent a week in Las Vegas, Nev. with her son Kelvin and grandchildren Kelvin and Jill Zohner. Chloe and Joe Leeder spent Sunday in Las Vegas at their daughter and son-in-law's place, Suzie and Bill Kaye. Suzie had a birthday dinner for her mother. Jim and Marilyn Baumberger and girls spent the weekend in Las Vegas, Nev. visiting with relatives and friends. Duke Kelly spent time in Europe at England, Spain, Scandinavia, Holland and Ireland setting up overseas distribution of motion pictures pic-tures and made arrangements to start a new movie in the near future to be filmed in Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. |
