Show Forest Service Workers Hold Holiday Social ! The Dixie National Forest Service Ser-vice employees and their partners part-ners met for a holiday social Wednesday evening at the Airport Air-port Cafe filling the time with dinner, dancing and a yule program. pro-gram. The event was sponsored by the "Pinenuts," the auxiliary of the Forest Service department in this district. Music for dancing was furnished by Bruce Forsyth, Cleo Petty and Harold Boyce. Irene McLaughlin served as mistress of ceremonies for the program which consisted of poet-1 ry and readings by Mrs. Gordon ; Stevens, Mrs. John Strang, Mrs. Charles Hendricks and Mrs. Jack j Shumate. A saxophone solo was 1 rendered by M. L. Christensen! accompanied by Mrs. Paul Mantz. Christmas songs rang out from the voices of Mrs. Henry Lee, Mrs. Paul Mantz, Mrs. Harold Greer, Mrs. George McLaughlin, Mrs. Reed Thompson and Rayola Leigh. They were accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Dale Peterson. In Keeping with the Christmas tradition, gifts were exchanged among the group. |
