Gold Medal Casaba Tourney Scheduled The second annual Cedar City Gold Medal basketball tournament tourna-ment will be held Thursday, Friday Fri-day and Saturday with eight teams participating. Games are slated to get underway under-way at 4 p. m. with Cedar City 1 team meeting Hurricane. That game will be followed by three I more games Thursday. At 5:45 p. m. Minersville will meet Team No. 2 of Enterprise; a second Cedar City team will meet Beaver Bea-ver at 7:30 p. m. and at 9 p. m. Enterprise No. 1 will meet a team from Las Vegas. A consolation and championship champion-ship division will be held with winners and losers to meet Friday. Fri-day. Two teams will be eliminated elimina-ted in the consolation round Friday and teams In the championship cham-pionship brackets will continue play through Saturday evening. An outstanding player and an All-Star team will be named at the conclusion of the tournament with medals and trophies to be presented. In charge of the event is Vce Wadsworth of Cedar City.
