Chairman Reports Savings Bond Sales Purchases of Series E and H savings bonds in Iron County for November amounted to $2,915 bringing the 11 month total to-tal to $62,515, it was announced this week by Francis Betenson, chairman. He indicated that the November Novem-ber purchases brought total sales to C8-7 percent of the assigned assign-ed goal for the year, indicating that the county would fall behind be-hind the goal this year unless a heavy December sales was recorded. re-corded. On a state basis total sales at i the end of November reached $t,rG7,3l)0, which is 1.3 percent higher than Nov. 1961. Washington Washing-ton County has the highest percent per-cent of its sales goal going over the top at the end of November with 121.7 percent. Only other county atttaining the goal was Soutth Box Elder with sales 101.3 percent of the goal, Bcten-sen Bcten-sen stated.
