Show NEWS FROM SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Daronport The nicest party of the year was held at the church Wednesday Wednes-day evening when the Relief Society So-ciety ladies entertained for their husbands at the annual Christmas Christ-mas Party. President Mary Dal-ley Dal-ley was in charge of the evening's even-ing's entertainment beginning with a musical program. The singing mothers furnished the music under the direction of Mrs. Mary Lawrence, with Mrs. Sylva Stapley at the piano. The readers read-ers for the program were Dee El Stapley, Dee White and Carl Evans. A delicious ham dinner was prepared and served, with M-s. Minnie Dalley assisted by Mrs. LaRue White, Mrs. Helen Matheson and Mrs. Mary Dalley on the food committee. The beau-iful beau-iful table decorations were made and arranged by Mrs. Ruth Dalley Dal-ley assisted by her daughter, Mrs. Daisy Prince. Mr. Frank Dalley acted as toastmaster for the evening. After the dinner, table games were played under the direction of Mrs. Jean Farrow. Far-row. President Mary Dalley made and presented lovely Christmas cards , to each couple with the message on the front cover beau-ttifully beau-ttifully penned by Lester Dalley. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Dalley left here Dec. 21 to spend the Christmas holidays in their new home in Orem. Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Dalley are happy to have their son Leon home. He has Just been released from the Navy after serving four years. Miss Kay Richards arrived here Thursday of last week from Lander to spend Christmas with her folks, the Arden Richards. The Hyrum Humpherys are happy to have their daughters, Patricia and Gail Ann here from Salt Lake City to spend the holidays. holi-days. Mrs. Humpherys' mother, Mrs. Beulah Frowning Is here also for a visit Gardiner Dalley arrived here from Idaho last week to spend some time with his family, the Frank Dalleys. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Green left Tuesday of last week to spend the holidays in Chula Vista, Calif., with their son, Ralph Jr. and family. Bryce Stapley is here from Logan Lo-gan where he Is attending school at the U. S. U. to spend his vacation vaca-tion with his folks, the Earl Stapleys. The Raymond Farrows are happy hap-py to have their son-in-law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Marc Aiitnn Miss Francis Furrow here from Mercury, Nev., to spend Christmas. |
