Show KAHARRAVILLE HEWS NOTES Mrs. Kannah Davis Melva Stanton of Salt Lake City Ci-ty was a guest at the Preston Williams home last week for a couple of days, she came to attend at-tend the funeral cf Fae Marie Olsen at Cedar City. Lillian attended at-tended the funeral of Mrs. Olsen with Mrs. Stanton. Holiday celebrations were started last week with a Primary program on Thursday evening. Friday evening the Relief Society held their Christmas party and exchanged gifts. Sunday the Sunday School gave a program with several Stake officers In attendance. Hannah Davis' daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Deble Davis is home for Christmas from Salt Lake City, where she is attending a Beauty School. Bp. Eldon Stout of Las Vegas visited about town one evening last week with friends and to wish them a very Merry Christmas. Christ-mas. We are always happy to have him call as he and his family fa-mily were residents here for some time and he was bishop of our ward. Santa Claus and his helpers visited vi-sited in town Friday evening and gave candy to the children. Deborah and Jeffrey Williams, Jimmie Davis and Shelley Davis attended a birthday party in New Harmony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince for their daughter Deanna on her 10th birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hawkins from his Navy Base in California and David Hawkins of Ogden, were here to spend Christmas with their mother, Mrs. Lu Ella Hawkins and family. The MIA gave a fine Christmas Christ-mas program Sunday evening with all our young people taking part. Mrs. Ethna Ford is enjoying a visit from some of her children, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Williams and daughter of Logr ., and Mr. and Mrs. David Williams of Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Dwlght Williams of Salt Lake City are here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Junius Williams. |
