Show RedmenRackUp Three Wins In Three Nights The Cedar City High School basketball team concluded a busy week of basketball Saturday evening at Pa rowan when they defeated the Rams by a score of 51 to 42. The Redmen of Coach Bruce Decker completed three games in as many nights and won as many as well. Two of the victories were at the hands of Iron County rival, Parowan, on a home and home basis. The Redmen staged a comefrom-behind effort Thursday Thurs-day night to down the Rams 63 to 54, came back Friday night at the CSU f ieldhouse with a 67 to 41 win over Moapa Valley of Overton. Nev., then traveled to Parowan Saturday to win over the Rams by the same nine point margin, but In a game In which they led throughout Neil Roberts led the Redmen In all three games, scoring in the 20s in each. In the first game against the Rams he hit for 29 points. That was nearly matched by Mike Hyatt of the Rams who hit the score board for 22 points. The Rams held a one-point margin mar-gin at halttime, and led by a considerable amount at various times during the first 16 minutes of play. In the third period the Redmen fired away to take a 10 point margin then coasted to the victory in the final quarter. Collin Col-lin Watson, taking some nice feeds under the bucket, came up in the double figures for Coach Decker with 10. For Lowell Caldwell Cald-well of the Rams, another Hyatt, Blaine, hit for 16 but it was not enough. Against Moapa Valley the Red-men Red-men dominated action throughout through-out and Coach Decker used the game to give a number of his reserves some much needed experience, ex-perience, Lee Hunter and Wes Roberts both hit for 10 points. Neil Roberts hit 28 even though lie left the game early in the third period. Saturday night Hans Chamberlain, Chamber-lain, on the guard line for Cedar High, came up with 16 points to go along with Robert's 24 point output to out score the Rams. Doug Murie of the Rams had 18 but the Hyatt boys were held to Just 3 and 7, respectively. The Redmen took a first quarter quar-ter lead of 13 to 7 and maintained maintain-ed the lead throughout the game.
