OCR Text	Show Madsen Bowls High Scratch Series - 701 Ardell Madsen, bowling in the Utah Construction league at the Cedar Bowling Lanes, turned in one of the best efforts of the season this past week when he hit a 701 scratch series. Madsen hit games of 199, 256 and 246 in the series. He committed com-mitted only one error in the effort ef-fort and came up with a total of 20 strikes over the three-game route. Not only did the series set a new high for the league, but, it is also only the second high ' series ever rolled at the Lanes in league ply. Leigh Rosen-Lt-rg holds the high honors with a 703. They are the only two 700 series since the bowling alley opened.
