Show Parowan Rams Wind Up Practice Games The final practice ganv for the Parowan High School basketball basket-ball team prior to the owning of league play, will be held tnis week end, states Lowell Caldwell Coach of the Parowan team. On Friday night the Parowan team travels to Panguitch for a game with the strong Panguitch High Bobcats, one of the apparent strong teams in southern Utah. On Saturday night the Ram squad will play an alumni team In the local gymnasium, to end practice play, during which the Parowan team has come close on several occasions, but has yet to win a game. During the past week the Par. owan teams lost twice to the Cedar High Redmen, an account of the games appearing on the sports page of this issue. They also dropped a game to the Enterprise En-terprise Wolves, at that place last Friday night by a rather lopsided lop-sided score. League play in the Millard Division Di-vision of Region Ten will get under un-der way on Friday night, Jan. 4 with Coach Caldwell's Rams meeting the Delta High Rabbits In a contest to be played in the Parowan gym. Game time will be 8 p. m. and the main game will be preceded by a game between be-tween the "B" teams of the two schools. |
