Show NEWS CF ACTIVITIES IN SUMMIT Mrs. Donna Davenport i The young mf irieds met at the Ward Recreation Hall Friday for an evening of Square Dancing and they are hoping to make it a weekly event. Miss Patricia Humpherys arrived ar-rived here from Salt Lake City over the week end to visit with her family, the Hyrum Humpherys. Humph-erys. Mrs. Hyrum Humpherys and daughters Patricia and Mrs. Gail Ann Woodard and baby left Sunday Sun-day afternoon for Las Vegas to spend the night with relatives before going on to Paris, Calif., to get Mrs. Humpherys' mother, Mrs. Beulah Browning and bring her back here for a visit Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley enjoyed en-joyed visits from a brother and sister-in-law, Dr. and Mrs. Stanley Stan-ley J. Dalley of Provo last week and also a brother-in-law and sister of Mr. Dalley, Mr. and Mrs. Walter K. Granger of Phoenix, Ariz., visited here Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Richards traveled to Tooele Saturday morning for an overnight stay with their son-in-law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Tucker. They also visited with the Fred Whickers while there. Mrs. Rich, ards' mother, Mrs. Leona Smith, accompanied them. Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Mrs. Emma Fife spent part of last week in Salt Lake City helping help-ing her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Rider, and girls Heidi and Velvette Ann get moved into their new home. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Henson and children Terry, Mary and Debbie, spent the week end in St. George where they attended a going away party for their Air Force friends, the Bill Cran-fords, Cran-fords, who are leaving soon for a four year assignment in Japan. |
