Show Symphony Concert Group Appears at High School Tonight The Granite Youth Symphony Orchestra will concertise in Cedar Ce-dar City today, Thursday. The popular group will present two concerts. The first will be at 2:30 p. m. in the Junior High School Auditorium and the second sec-ond will be an evening per'oim-ance per'oim-ance at 8 p. m. in the High School Auditorium. The public is cordially invited to attend. Soloists w:ih the orchestra include in-clude Kathleen Welch, a soprano; Hoiiy M. Lee, on the oboe and Briant Herzog on the piano. Friday the group will present concerts in Hurricane and in St George. Objective of the organization is to provide a greater challenge for the outstanding orchestra students of Granite School District Dis-trict through experiences with a higher level of performance, interpretation, in-terpretation, intonation and fine orchestral tone and balance. The Granite Youth Symphony Orchestra has also presented concerts con-certs at the Utah State University in Logan and at Skyline High School in Salt Lake City, prior to the concert tour into southern Utah. |
