Former Resident Gets School Principal Post A short note with a newspaper clipping came to us during the week from Mrs. Betty Wiltsey, telling us that her husband, Ray Wiltsey had been appointed as the new principal at Vina Danks Junior High School in Ontario, Calif. Both Mr. and Mrs. Wiltsey of former residents of Parowan and are well known by many people of this community. The newspaper clipping states that Wiltsey will succeed Miss Josephine Goldsmith, former principal of the school who is retiring. re-tiring. Wiltsey, a Brlgham Young University and Los Angeles State College grad" : , with the Ontano school District since 1952. He taught social science and English at Vina Danks from 1952 to 1955, was teacher-coun-selor at De Anza Junior High from 1955 to 1958, then wa assigned as-signed at vice principal at Inv period in 1961. He taught school in Provo for three years before moving to Ontario On-tario where he lives with his wife, the former Betty Burton and eight children at 312 West I Street in the California City.
