Show Blaine Tucllcr Gets Promotion in U.S. Foreign Service President Johnson has promoted promot-ed Blaine C. Tueller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lamoni C. Tueller of Logan, and formerly of Cedar City to class 5 In the Foreign Service of the United States. Tne promotion resulted trom a recommendation recom-mendation by the 1955 Foreign Service Selection Board. Mr. Tueller graduated from Cedar Ce-dar High School and received a Bachelor's degree from Utah State University in 1957. He served serv-ed in the U. S. Army and was honorably discharged with the rank of Sp. 3rd. Since entering the Foreign Service in 1957, he has served at U. S. Embassies in Dublin, Ireland, and Vienna, Aus. tria. He is presently serving in Washington with the Executive Secretariat, Department of State. Mr. Tueller speaks fluent Dutch, German and Spanish. Mrs. Tueller, the former Jean Marie Heywood, daughter of Iceland Ice-land D. Heywood of Cedar City, attended Cedar High School and Utah State University. She speaks German. They have six children, Jan, 10; Anna, 9; Matthew, 7; Marie 6; Dian, 4, and Martha 1. |
