Show George R. Lyman Dies At LeGrande, Oregon A former Resident of Parowan, George R. Lyman, died April 22 at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Winona Veal In LeGrande, Ore. following a llngeringg illness. He was 92 years old and was born in Parowan April 15, 1873, a son of Phebe Madora Benson and Oscar Os-car Morris Lyman. He spent his early life in Parowan and married mar-ried Pearl Watson in the Mantl Temple in 1S97. Following his marriage ho fill, filled a mission for the LDS Church, and upon his return home he moved with his family to LeGrande, Ore. where he was prominent In business, and civic affairs. He was a contractor and builder. He was also active in the LDS Church, serving as Patriarch Pa-triarch in the stake where he lived. He Is survived by eight children. chil-dren. Dr. Elwood W. and Dr. Richard Rich-ard W. Lyman, Berkeley, Calif.; Rollo W. Lyman and Loa Lyman Stoddard, California; Winona Lyman Ly-man Veal, Irma Lyman Zimmerman Zimmer-man and Marva Lyman Woodell, Legrande, Ore, and Dr. Howard Watson Lman, Eugene, Ore.
