Show CSU Bsautification Day Planned For Thursday, May 6 Beautification Day at College of Southern Utah will be Thursday, Thurs-day, May 6, according to Keith Seegmiller, Cedar City, chairman. The annual event will Involve a number of projects designed to beautify the campus and provide recreational, as well as work, activities ac-tivities for students and faculty. All of the work is accomplished between classes. Dormitories will be In competition compe-tition to achieve the greatest improvement im-provement in appearance of buildings and grounds. A special project for art students will be the installation of a hand-crafted ceramics screen In the outdoor classroom area adjacent to the arts and crafts department. The screen was designed and constructed con-structed by Mrs. Mary MacDon-ald, MacDon-ald, instructor of ceramics at CSU. Mr. Seegmiller said" a special project for girls will be to keep the boys happy by serving refreshments re-freshments during the 10 a. m. break. From 3 to 5 p. m. "B" Day participants will take part in competitive games, lntra-fratern-lty and sorority song fest, char-lot char-lot race, and traditional greasy pig chase.
