Critchlow, Jr., an Assistant to the Council of Twelve Apostles of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will preside at a quarterly quar-terly conference of the Parowan Stake here on Saturday and Sunday Sun-day of this week, May 1 and 2. Also attending will be C. Laird Snelgrove, a number of the Priesthood Home Teaching Committee, and Oa J. Cannon of the Relief Society General Board. Elder Critchlow, Jr., noted utilities utili-ties and civic leader from Ogden, has been an assistant to the Council of Twelve Agonies since October, 1958. Prior to his call to his present position he was president pres-ident of the South Ogden Stake and had served as local and regional re-gional superintendent of the YMMIA, as Sunday School superintendent sup-erintendent and as a member of the Mt Ogden Stake high council coun-cil as well as a counselor in the presidency' of that stake. General sessions of the conference confer-ence will be held Sunday at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. anu will he conducted by Stake President Howard D. Knight with all members mem-bers of the stake invited to attend at-tend as well as any others who may be Interested. Special meetings for Priesthood Priest-hood and Relief Society leaders in the stake will be held on Saturday Sat-urday afternoon, with the general gener-al Priesthood Leadership meeting meet-ing set for 7 p. m.. The general session? of the conference will be held in the Third Ward chapel. Special music mu-sic for the morning session will be furnished by the stake Singing Sing-ing Mother's Chorus directed by Mrs. V'yonne Chamberlain with Mrs. Itha Mortensen at the piano and special music for the afternoon after-noon meeting will be furnished by the Stake Priesthood Chorus directed by Robert Potter. |
