Show Cedar Stake Festival Will Feature One Hundred Dancers The Cedar Stake Dance Festival Festi-val will be staged Tuesday, May 4 at 8 p. m. in the high school gymnasium, it is announced by Mrs. Prank Adams, Stake Dance Director. Theme for this year's presentation, presenta-tion, which will feature over 100 participants, will be "Springtime in Rhythm." The public is cordially cor-dially invited to attend and no admission charge will be made. A wide variety of dances will be presented from the rhumba to the polka. Colorful costumes will add to the festive atmosphere of the colorful dance program. 1 Following the presentation on the stake level the dancers will then attend and participate in the Region Dance Festival of the LDS Church to be held in the Sun Bowl in St. George on May 22nd. That will be followed by the All-Church Festival in Salt Lake City June 18 and 19, Mrs. Adams stated. Approximately 1 0 different dances will be presented at the Festival by participants ranging in age from 13 years to young married couples from all wards of the stake. A specialty dance for the "Springtime in Rnythm" program will be a popular square dance by members of the Hey Cedars Square Dance Club. |
