Show Jaycees Miss State Recognition by One Representative With the last of the yearly travel trophy state meets completed com-pleted and the Cedar City Junior Jun-ior Chamber or Commerce finishing finish-ing in second place, the Jaycees are now turning their attention to the state convention, according accord-ing to Miles Morris, local president. presi-dent. At a travel trophy meeting held in Tremonton last Saturday the local Jaycees lacked the combined com-bined mileage of one member to cop the state travel trophy for the year, according to Mr. Morris. Just 310 miles behind Vernal in total man miles traveled for the year the Cedar City club took second place with a representation representa-tion of 13 members at the Tremonton Tre-monton meet. Next in line, on the state and local level as well, will be the state convention to be held at Vernal commencing on May 1. Mr. Morris stated. An effort to stimulate interest in this convention is being made by the Cedar City Jaycees In hopes that a good representation will attend the confab. Mr. Morris!, Mor-ris!, stated that interested members, mem-bers, not yet contacted, must contact con-tact one of the board members in order that reservations can be made, prior to April 1. |
