Sports fans of this area who turned In on the radio or attended attend-ed the recent Class B basketball tournament held in Provo last j week were tickled to hear of some character who was apparently so anxious to see the ball game that he left his car locked with the motor running. It became necessary that they make an announcement over the loud speaker at the B Y U field-house field-house with an audience of some 9,000 fans getting a big chuckle, plus a large radio audience. It can't be vouched whether Neil Carter, Cedar City businessman, business-man, got up immediately or whether whe-ther he waited for the iaughs to calm down before attending to his car, but the word froms the horse's mouth assures that Mr. Carter was rather embarrassed and claims "it will never happen again.'' |
