Show March Rites Unite Skinner, Barton in Wedlock A lovely brid of March is the ; former Miss Maiicne Skinner, who exchanged marriage vrws on March 1G with William A Bat-1 ity in a ceremony at the L D Si Institute in Cedar City. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl H. Skinner, Cedar City, and the groom a son of Mrs. Mary Batty of Cedar City. The young couple was honored at a reception immediately following fol-lowing the marriage ceremony at the home of the bride's parents. par-ents. The bride's gown was a floor length white satin cover with a net skirt of ruffles. The bodice had a high neck and tapered long sleeves of chantilly lace trimmed with seed pearls. Her veil of bridal illusion was held to a juliet cape of lace and satin sa-tin and trimmed with seed pearls. She held a bouquet of white roses and a white orchid. Attending the oride as maid of honor was her sister, Miss Na-dine Na-dine Skinner, who wore a formal of baby blue net and held a bouquet of red roses and pink carnations. The bridesmaids, Sherlene Sherratt, Dorothy Jones, Shirley Green, LueJean Kearns of Cedar City, and Carina Lessing of Beaver, wore blue floor length formals and carried bouquets of roses and carnations. Mrs. Gladys Skinner and Mrs. Mary Batty, mothers of the bride and groom, wore navy blue dresses with corsages of roses and baoy orchids. Performing the duties of bcM man was Stewart S. Batty, brother broth-er of the groom. For their honey moon trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, the bride chose a black suit with blue accessories. |
