Show Single Meet Set For Cedar ByBACThinclads Opening the track and field schedule for the Branch Agricultural Agri-cultural college thinclads will be the first of two dual meets with Dixie Junior college of St. George, Tuesday, April 7, at St. George, announces Dave Gates, coach at the B A C. Final dates for the remaining meets for the B A C have not yet been disclosed but will include in-clude the B Y U Invitational meet at Provo, the I C A C met to be held at Westminster college in Salt Lake City plus the second dual meet with Dixie. The only meet that will be held in Cedar City this year will be the second dual meeting of the Rebels and Broncos, it is understood. A host of outstanding athletes have been undergoing daily workouts at the B A C campus with a number of promising stars in several of the events, Coach Gates stated. However, a complete listing of the participants and their respective re-spective events will not be announced an-nounced until prior to the dual meet at St. George, it is understood. under-stood. A well rounded squad is expected though with participants partici-pants to be entered in every event from the field of approximately approxi-mately 20 thinclads now working work-ing out. |
