Show KANARRAVELE Hannah A. Davis Golden Roundy of Blue Water, N. M., and Carl Roundy of Hurricane, Hur-ricane, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Williams. Elda Fife and daughter Dorothy Doro-thy of Summit, and Wanda Pace of Cedar City, were visitors with Hannah A. Davis. Verd Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ethna Ford and Mona Milne of Cedar City were married Feb. 26 at the Milne home in Cedar City by Bishop Alton Ford of Ka-narra. Ka-narra. A reception was held the same evening. Many friends from Kanarra called during the evening. eve-ning. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams spent several days visiting in Henderson, Nev, with relatives. Ethna Ford and son David, and Gaynell Williams and son Dwight, attended the mothers and sons party at Cedar City High School. Several of our townspeople attended at-tended a missionary farewell at New Harmony Saturday night for Gerald Prince, who is leaving to fill an L D S mission. Mrs. Lydia Shires' of Victor, Idaho spent a couple of days here visiting with her brother and family, Mr. and Mrs. Alrick Zohner. Speakers in sacrament meeting Sunday were DeWayne Lovell of Kanarra, and Tom Pierce of New Harmony. Miss Avey Pierce gave a vocal solo accompanied by Boyd Reeves at the piano. Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Carter of Milford visited Jast week with Mrs. Carter's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Junius Williams. Gary Williams has returned home after spending two months in Nevada. Nello Williams had the misfortune mis-fortune to break one of his feet. He is able to get around on crutches. Sunday visitors with Hannah A. Davis were her son-in-law ana daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Prince and children of New Harmony. Har-mony. Mr. and Mrs. Noel Williams spent a few days in Cedar City to care for some of their grandchildren grand-children at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Smith and Mrs. Verda Smith, spent last week end Jn Salt Lake City, with their daughter and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Malm and children. chil-dren. Bryce Williams has gone to California where he has employment. employ-ment. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Davis have moved to The Dalles, Ore., where Mr." Davis has .employment. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Davies and sons David and Henry, Sylvia Williams and Bessie Davies visited vis-ited for a few days in Arizona, California and Nevada. Mary M. Williams received medical care at the Iron County hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Ren Williams were business visitors in Salt Lake City last week. Mrs. Leslie Loops is In the Iron County hospital, having undergone under-gone surgery. W. C. Reeves visited In Cedar City with his son Otto and family fam-ily recently. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Jess Williams were their granddaughter granddaugh-ter Betty Pace, and Mrs. Verna Pace and Mrs. Camilla Prince of New Harmony. |
