Show SUMMIT NOTES Hulda Peterson Seventeen members of the Summit Ward traveled to the St. George Temple Friday to perform work at the L D S Temple. Kent Hulet, now residing In Provo, came to Summit to accompany his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hulet and his brother Carlyle, on the excursion. Others making the trip Included Bishop and Mrs. Lyle Farrow, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Farrow, Mrs. Millie Grtmshaw, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Dalley, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Dalley and Mrs. Dalley's Mother, Mrs. Hildahand; Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Bryant and Nelson Madsen. Miss Mary Jane Dalley joined the Cedar High School debating team on a trip to Ogden over the week end. She returned home Sunday and reported an exceptionally excep-tionally fine trip. Earl Stapley left Monday for Bountiful where he has accepted employment. He will remain in the northern Utah city for an indefinite in-definite time. Mrs. Ann Madsen returned home from California last week after visiting with her son, Elmo Smith, and her daughter. Nor-ine Nor-ine Smith, now residing in the coast state. Mrs. Paulino Hulet was in charge of the Sunday sacrament meeting. Themo for the program was "Thou Shalt Not Covet." Speakers were Mrs. Ilulot, Ivan Dalley and 0oar Hulet. Our Trimary Organization went over the top with their hospital birthday penny drive. The collections col-lections will be used for the children chil-dren In the Frimaty Hospital in Salt Lake Cify. The drive was church -wide. Doss Walker, who has spent the winter in Salt Lake City with his son. Jay Walker and family, broke his right wrist when he slipped and foil In the capital city. He is now in Summit with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Farrow, and his son Boyd Walker and family. Mrs. Tauline Ronnie and her two sons, Chuckie and Eddie, of Parowan, spent some time in Summit with her mother, Hulda Tcterson. |
