Show Salina Poultryman Elected To Organization Helm E. Smith rcterson of Salina was named president of the Utah Poultry and Farmers Cooperative Coopera-tive at the 32nd annual convention conven-tion at the Hotel Utah. Mr. Peterson Pet-erson succeeds II. Ray Pond of Richmond. Other officers named at the convention were: J. Arza Adams, of Pleasant Grove, first vice president; presi-dent; W. A. Earlocker of St. George, second vice president, and Jesse W. Spaflord of American Ameri-can Fork, third vice president. Clyde C. Edmonds, general manager for the past 30 years and one of the founders of the cooperative, retired from the active act-ive leadership. H. M. Blackhurst, assistant general manager for many years, was moved up to the general manager's post. Mr. Blackhurst also will serve as treasurer w ith C. K. Ferre named as secretary of the organization. |
