Show AS I SEE IT The legislators have been in session some thirty to forty days, and all that I can analyze concerning what they've accomplished accom-plished is to frattrnize, patronize, patron-ize, and condolenlze, memorialize, memorial-ize, criticize, hypnotize and paralyze para-lyze any program that America has ever stood for. I ask you Just what have they done for the good of the communities com-munities that they represent? They haven't created anymore water, which wc as people are so dependent upon. They haven't have-n't said anything about better roads off the main highways, which would benefit the farmers farm-ers and livestock people. They haven't mentioned youth delinquency delin-quency nor have they mentioned liberalizing of sports of any kind in the state. It seems to me they have spent all their time and the taxpayers money Just criticizing crit-icizing and demoralizing our American way of life, instead of promoting something that would further Americanism. As I see it we shouldn't send representatives of any community Just as politicians, but we should send men with the Integrity to promote something that would be beneficial and lasting to the community they represent. It seems that all they want to do is control such things as divorce, locker clubs, increase their own pay, unnecessary raises in wages, and tear down the fundamentals of Americanism. " Clarence Lamoreaux P. S. There is one road In Southern Utah which should be a must on the state road program, and that is the road south of St. George. It would shorten the road to Los Angeles and all points fifteen miles south, It would also relieve snow removal, which has been a great expense; and if the state hasn't got the money they could make it a toll load, which would pay for itself In a few years. |
