Show Rams Trip Millard High Team For Division Title After dropping their first league game of tl;e season to the Delta Rabbits two weeks ago, the Parowan Hign School basketball team returned to form last Friday Fri-day to trim the Millard High team at Fillmore 51-42, and take the division championship. This win was the first for a Parowan team over the Eagles at Fillmore since Parowan was placed in the Millard Division of Region Six a number of years Ego. The score was very close all tnrougn the nrst nail or play, with the teams tied up several times. The score was tied at 12-all 12-all at the end of the initial period, per-iod, and the two teams were tied up 18-all at half time when a Millard player make a freak underhand un-derhand shot from more than half the length of the floor as the horn sounded. As the third quarter opened the Rams started to pull away to go into a 31 to 27 lead as the third quarter ended, a lead which was increased to 51 to 42 when the final gun sounded. Rodney Bent-ley Bent-ley led the Ram attack with 16 points with Donald Gurr right behind with 33. and Eric Clark coming next with 10. Jones with 11 and Bennett with 10, led the Millard scoring. In the Delta-Beaver game, with the Beaver team's win helping Parowan clinch the division lead, the winner was ahead 11 to 8. 23 to 18 and 33 to 30 at the quarter quar-ter rests and finished ahead 45 to 43.
