Show Utah Jaycee Prexy Tells Local Club Oi Citizenship Duties Boyd Bunnell, president of the Utah State Junior Chamber of Commerce and the recipient of the State Distinguished Service Award for 195-1, was featured speaker at a membership meeting meet-ing of the Cedar City Junior Chamber Thursday evening, Feb. 24. Bunnell pointed out to the Cedar Ce-dar Jaycees that the sovereign power, of the United States government gov-ernment lies in thi individual clti- zen, and admonished the membership mem-bership to heed their responsibilities responsibili-ties as the sovereign power. Elaborating on the U S government govern-ment he said that we live In the best devised system of government govern-ment ever established on this earth, but, he said, "we must bear in mind the spirit of the originators of the Constitution and live by the same kind of faith in it for our government to survive." Musical entertainment for the meeting was furnished by Elmy-ra Elmy-ra Dover, who rendered two accordion ac-cordion solos. |
