Show Rotary Nominating Committee Forms Election Ballot A nominating committee of past presidents of the Cedar City Rotary Club announced this week a ballot for the (lection of officers offi-cers for the civic group for the coming year. Placed in nomination for the position of president to succeed D. C. Dlx, were Don Draper and Myron Higbee. Both of these men I have served during the pasf year as vice presidents of the club. The nominating committee under the chairmanship of immediate im-mediate past president Carl Was-muth, Was-muth, includos Smoot Seaman, II. M. Endsley, Homer Jones and Ianthus Wright. The election of officers will take place at the regular noon luncheon of the Rotary Club on Tuesday, Mar. 15. Two candidates are unopposed on the ballot. They are Incumbent Glen Froyd, secretary, and R. L. (Less) Wahl, treasurer. Other nominations are as follows: fol-lows: Vice president, two to be elected. L. V. (Vcrl) Broadbent, Giles Bolander, EHoyd T. Mar-chant Mar-chant and James (Jim) Heywood. Board of directors, two to be elected: James M. (Jim) Amend, Wm. T. (Bill) Smith. Dean G. Williams and Lang Wong. Lawrence Law-rence T. (Larry) Leonard! and Willard (Bill) Hamilton, will vie for sergeant-at-r.rms. |
