Show Greyhound Day Will Be Observed With Special Program "Greyhound Day" will be observed ob-served in Cedar City on Wednesday, Wednes-day, Mar. 9, featuring a demonstration demon-stration ride on the famous "Highway Traveler" and an introduction in-troduction of new 1955 vacation news, according to Bob Pothier, local Greyhound agent. Throughout the day rides on the Highway Traveler, with air suspension ride, will be given. The unit will be stationed in front of Hotel El Escalante and the event will get under way at 9:30 a. m. The public is invited to drop down and view the Traveler. Trav-eler. Souvenirs will be given plus a host of prizes and travel literature. lit-erature. Wednesday evening at 7:30 interested in-terested citizens will see a technicolor tech-nicolor motion picture, "America for Me," at the College of Southern South-ern Utah auditorium. Lectures on vacationing will also be given. Mayor Arnold E. 'Anderson has proclaimed the "Greyhound Day" and extends his congratulations on the progress that is being made in our everyday mode of transportation and particularly commercial units such as the Highway Traveler. |
