Show NEWCASTLE A birthday party honoring Mrs. Sophia T. Jones was given by her husband and family at their ranch home Friday evening. There were 15 guests invited including in-cluding Mrs. Effie Beacham, Thomas Tho-mas Forsyth, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Rob-ert Pbtt, Mr. and Mrs. John Tullis, Tul-lis, Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Chris-tensen, Chris-tensen, Mr. and Mrs. R. M .Gillies, .Gil-lies, Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Hulet, Mrs. Amy Knell and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Hart. A buffet supper was served, after which the time was spent in reminiscing reminisc-ing about old Pinto and Newcastle New-castle times. A truly enjoyable evening of story and song was enjoyed by everyone present. Cleo Tullis, Karolyn Knell, Dor-otyh Dor-otyh Ward, Lydia Harrison and Dorothy Heffner spent the week end at Pine Valley for the Cedar Stake M I A girls outing. They were under the direction of Mrs. Shirley Hart. The same group of girls recently organized a 4-H club with Mrs. Marion Woolsey as leader and Miss Fern Johnson as advisor. Mrs. Doris Peterson and family spent the wek end here as guests of Thomas Forsyth. They were enroutc to their home in Garland, Utah, after a vacation trip to California. Mrs. Gordon Knell and children are spending a summer vacation at Spanish Fork with Mrs. Knell's father, J. W. Wilde, and other members of the family. |
