Show judging School to Be Held for South Utah Women Under the supervision of the Utah State Agricultural College Extension Division and particularly particu-larly the home economics division divi-sion a six-county judging school for women will be held at the College of Southern Utah in Cedar Ce-dar City Thursday, July 30. This judging school is being conducted for those women who will do the judging in the county fairs of southern Utah. Women from Garfield, Kane, Washington, Washing-ton, Iron, Beaver and Piute counties coun-ties will assemble at "Old Main" on the CSU campus at 10 a. m. Thursday morning to begin the school. Conducting the judging school will be specialists from the USAC and other state directors. Miss Thelma Huber state supervisor of home economics will be in attendance, as well as Elna Miller, Mil-ler, nutrition specialists; Theda Johnson, clothing specialist, and Rhea Gardner, home management manage-ment specialist. According to Fern Johnson, Iron County home demonstration agent for the extension service, all women interested in this outstanding out-standing training school are invited in-vited to call the Iron County extension ex-tension office to make the necessary nec-essary arrangements. This school conducted by experts ex-perts in the various fields of county judging will qualify women wo-men in their respective fields. Points of judging, what to do and what to look for will be pointed out by those in charge. |
