Show Millard James Heaps LAYTON Millard James Heaps, 57, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 1991, at the University of Utah, from a stroke. He was bom June 25, 1933 to William Lester and Leola Woolsey Heaps in Escalante, Utah. He married Glenna Lou Bigler Oct. 8, 1956 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a member of the LDS Church, Layton 19th Ward. He was a High Priest and enjoyed missionary mis-sionary work. He served a two-year mission to the Central Atlanta M States as well as a stake mission. He also enjoyed genealogy. He enjoyed writing poetry. He had been a meat cutter at Albert-sons. Albert-sons. Surviving are his wife of Layton; one son and four daughters, James Gordon Heaps, Roy: Mrs. Mark (Jeanine) Raleigh, Clearfield; Mrs. David (Joyce) Martinson, Louise Heaps, both of Lay.'on; Mrs. Von (Sherena) Huntsman, Salt Lake City; 13 grandchildren. Also surviving are his father of Richfield, three brothers and three sisters, Dar Heaps, Huntington; Tom Heaps, Salina; Larry Heaps, Spanish Fork; Thelma Johnson, Richfield; Ann Dalebout, Miraloma, Calif.; Dixie Carter, Sevier. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elaine. Funeral services were held May 24 at the Layton 19th LDS Ward with Bishop James McKinstry officiating. of-ficiating. Funeral services were under the direction of Lindquist's Layton Mortuary. |
