Davis High School has been a great place to grow, and that is exactly what this year's group of graduating seniors have done. The transformation from young student to a viable member of society has taken place for 550 graduates. The Dee Events Center at Weber State will be the site for the ceremony commemorating the accomplishments of these Davis High School graduates. Commencement speakers will touch on the senior class theme during their talks. Christy Karras will discuss individual growth; John Wardle, mental growth; Robert M. Larkins, growth in leadership; Jeff Lewis, social growth; and Shaunia McPher-son, McPher-son, charitable growth. Davis High's commencement date is May 31, at 7 p.m. Seniors are well aware that growth in these areas does not stop with graduation ceremonies. However, graduation signals that they have expanded their knowledge knowl-edge to the degree that they are prepared to move into the future and embrace future accomplishments. |
