Show School's out for summer By AL The 1990-1991 year has finally come to an end and everyone is celebrating (especially the seniors). Books are turned in, movies are being be-ing watched, and the summer fun is about to begin... What an incredible year it's been. Homecoming was a great success and Christmas was full of surprises. The Guadalupe Center was the highlight of everyone's year. Seeing See-ing all those kids happy and free from worry made the true Christmas spirit come shining through. The annual pot holes made their lasting appearance and some heart wrenching reminders were left to some people's cars. The spirit rock not only attracted the Viking spirit but also the fury of the opposing school. Dancing was a great pleasure for many students, especially if you went with the man or woman of your dreams. "Keeping the Dream Alive," "Fishing in the Dark," "Sweet Dreams," "When We Dance" and "Winter Wonder Land." All these wonderful memories will stick to many of the students of the year. Hopefully people will leave Viewmont (if not just for this year) with great memories and a good attitude about life. We as student body officers would like to thank everyone for all the help and support they've given us (especially my committee). The year has been great. As we rum our offices over to the incoming officers offi-cers we would just like to say good luck and have fun (from: Aaron Jones, student body president; Ammon Jones, student body vice president; James Anderson, student body secretary; Matt Wilbum, artist; ar-tist; Holly Meacham, assemblies; Steve Edgley, student relations; Allison Cutler, public relationshistorian; rela-tionshistorian; Brent Peterson, business manager, Brian Coombs, publicity.) With this being my final Vikings Views, I'd like to reveal my true identity (you see, it's too late for anyone to harass and torment me). If you haven't guessed by now (I don't care) but I leave you in great hands. So Xong.JHasta la vista Allison Cutler. In keeping with the Spanish tradition, tra-dition, I'd like to say Hola, que tal, como estas usted? Como te llamas? Me Uamo....(drum roll)..Miss USA. Pretty patriotic, huh? I thought I'd tell you a bit about myself. I can sum it all up in one word... ME. That about covers it, thanks for your time and patience, kindness and understanding, your incredible support and virtue. No, I'm not a boy scout, but I was a girl scout once upon a time. Have a fun summer, don't do anything I wouldn ' t do. See ya next year. |
