By MICHELLE EMERY The Davis County Parade of Homes will open Aug. 30 and will run through Sept 9. Sixteen homes will be displayed representing 14 different builders. The homes' values range from $85,000 to $455,000, and they give everyone attending ideas and helpful hints for finding the home of their dreams. The hours of the parade are from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. on weekdays and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends, week-ends, including Labor Day. A grand prize drawing will be held at the Smith's Food and Drug store in Farmington on Saturday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. Participants must be present to win. Gifts this year include televisions, VCR's, BBQ's, patio furniture, gift certificates cer-tificates and more. The People's Choice Award (the home the attendees at-tendees liked the best) will also be given at this drawing. Tickets for the parade are available at any of the homes, and maps are available at Smith's stores. The cost is $4 for adults and $1 for children with adult discount tickets available of all Davis County Coun-ty Smith's Food and Drug stores. |
