Show Community and businesses gear up for Clipper Homemakers School Sept. 13 BOUNTIFULArea residents and businesses are looking forward many national sponsors such as Fleishmann's, Hershey's, Magnalite Cook ware and Reese's. In addition to the Clipper and Food-4-Less, there are many local participating merchants including Lake wood's Home Furnishings, K- tech Kitchen Mills and Mixers, Rhodes Bake and Serve Products, Bountiful Lumber and Cvar's Fuller Paints Inc. House of Fabrics of Bountiful will present a back-to-school fash ion show during the Homemakers School intermission. Dorothy Willey of the Golden Years Center said, "I've saved every recipe the Clipper has ever published, and I can't wait to get new ones at the school. Doors open for the area-wide free event at 5:30 p.m., at which time sponsors' booths will open, offering the latest in home maintenance tips. The stage demonstrations and instruction in-struction begins at 7 p.m. to the upcoming ClipperFood-4-Less Homemakers School scheduled for Sept. 13 at Woods Cross High School. Hundreds of prizes will be given away to area residents during the event. The first 1,000 guests will receive the Homemakers School gift bag filled with certificates, cookbooks and coupons from local and national sponsors. Bountiful Food-4-Less manager Don Simpson said he is excited about being a pan of the first Davis County Homemakers School. "We're looking forward to the event and anticipate a large turnout," turn-out," he said. Forty members of the audience will be the winners of bags of groceries provided by Food-4-Less.
