Show New Harmony By NORMA CHRISTENSEN Record Correspondent It is nice to have Sterling and Mildred Tullis home with us again. Sterling has been in Salt Lake City for the past month recuperating from surgery. Sterling is still very weak, but there is no place like home. Gordon Knell received the happy news that he is a grandfather again. His daughter and her husband, Robert and Kathy Smith of Salt Lake City, presented him with a new little grandson. This is the fourth son for Robert and Kathy. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christensen and Betty Jo and Troy traveled to Huntsville, Utah, to attend at-tend a family reunion at the home of Mrs. Lucille Deem. They also visited at the home of their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Tom (Becky) Redding of Sandy. Charles and Shirley Hart are also proud new grandparents. A baby girl was born to ther son and daughter-in-law, Keenan and Jeannine Hart of Cedar City. We have lost a lot of our young people this week as they have departed for their various places of higher education. Larry and Laurie Laub, son and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Normand Laub, and Klayton Holt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Holt, will all be attending Utah Technical College at Orem. Leonard Hulet, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hulet, is attending at-tending Dixie College in St. George. Paul Christensen, Son of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christensen, is attending Utah Technical College in Salt Lake. Penne Gardner, Gard-ner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Gardner, and Carol Gardner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Gardner, will both be attending SUSC in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. David Gardner and baby daughter of Arlington, Texas, were visitors over the weekend at the home of their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Gardner. Mr. and Mrs. Steve (Rosaland) ' Roth and little son have moved back to Cedar City from a two-months stay in Marysvale where Steve worked for his father. Steve is also attending SUSC. They visited over the weekend with Rosaland's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Christensen visited last week at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Christensen and family were visitors Saturday at the home of Deb's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine Chamberlain of Cedar City. |
